Islamic Cultural Centre Norway operates the LesKoranen<\/strong> mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.<\/p>\n

    We prioritize user privacy. We do not<\/strong> require users to create an account and we do not<\/strong> collect personal information such as names, phone numbers, or home addresses.<\/p>\n

    However, the App may process the following types of data to function correctly:<\/p>\n

    • Location Data:<\/strong> * The App requests access to your precise location<\/strong> (with your permission) to calculate accurate prayer times based on your position.\n

      • Location coordinates are processed locally or sent to a backend service to retrieve relevant prayer times within Norway.<\/li>\n
      • We do not store your location history<\/strong> on our servers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Device & Notification Data:<\/strong> * The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)<\/strong> for notifications.\n

        • App Usage Data (Local & Limited):<\/strong> * The App stores user preferences locally on your device, such as favorite surahs, selected language, reciter preferences, and theme settings.\n

          • Some preference data may be synchronized with our backend to enable features like “Favorites” across sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  LesKoranen provides:<\/p>\n

                  • Quran surahs with translations in multiple languages.<\/li>\n
                  • Audio playback (including background playback).<\/li>\n
                  • Duas with text and audio.<\/li>\n
                  • Search functionality and “Favorites” bookmarks.<\/li>\n
                  • Customization (themes, font sizes, and reciters). All these features are designed to operate without requiring the user to share their personal identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    1. Donations \/ Payments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      The App includes a donation feature that redirects to an external<\/strong> payment gateway.<\/p>\n

                      • We do not collect, process, or store any payment or credit card information<\/strong> within the App.<\/li>\n
                      • All transactions are handled by secure third-party payment providers in Norway (e.g., Vipps or bank portals).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
